Some people have the idea that they need to spend hours at the gym to lose weight. However, us here at Steps believe that some time in the gym combined with long, refreshing walks can be equally good for your health!
Walks are relaxing and you can set the pace however you like. Just want a chill walk? Take a stroll! Want to burn more and feel energized? Maybe a powerwalk! Walks have an immense power to help you get more healthy, and on the plus side they burn calories, too.
Walking 10,000 steps a day will burn around 300 calories (depending on your weight and other factors), and 10,000 is the reccomended amount of walking we need to do in one day just to stay healthy. If we want to walk to lose weight, why not walk 15,000? Set a goal you think you can reach, and then try to reach it.
It's not always a walk in the park, taking walks. But sometimes, it literally is.
